Visual and Performing Art

A creative child

Some of the most effective ways children have for explaining and understanding their world as well as expressing their thoughts and emotions is through the arts. At WeCare, preschool materials are selected to help our students gain symbolic knowledge, allowing them to express their experiences through drawing, painting, dramatic play or through the construction of models. Some of the learning outcomes may include:

Dance

Children develop an appreciation for a variety of dance activities. They are able to describe feelings and reactions of a dance performance;

Dramatic Play

They are able to use their memory, imagination and language skills to create new roles and act them out, demonstrate appropriate audience reaction skills during storytelling and performances.

Visual Arts

Children demonstrate a growing ability to represent thoughts, emotions and experiences through a wide range of visual arts including improved hand-eye coordination and motor skills.

As you can tell we care a lot about what we do and how we ensure the success of your child.
